One of the most prestigious technical gatherings in the fruit juice industry, the IFU Technical Workshop 2025, was successfully held in Istanbul through the collaboration of MEYED and the International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association (IFU).

On April 15, the workshop brought together 105 professionals from 63 organizations across 15 countries. With 55 participants from Türkiye alone, the event marked a significant rise in national participation—clearly reflecting the growing interest and international engagement of the Turkish fruit juice sector.

Attending countries included Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Egypt, Tunisia, Mexico, and various EU nations. This edition of the workshop recorded the highest international attendance in IFU Technical Workshop history.

On the second day, April 16, participants visited two leading institutions in Türkiye’s food science and innovation ecosystem: TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute and Aromsa A.Ş. These technical visits provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

As MEYED, we are proud to have maintained a long-standing and close partnership with IFU. Currently, three distinguished representatives from Türkiye serve in key roles within the organization:
