The IFU Technical Workshop 2025, one of the most prestigious technical gatherings in the fruit juice industry, was held in Istanbul this year in collaboration with MEYED and IFU – International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association.

The event, held on April 15, brought together 105 experts from 15 countries, representing 63 organizations. The participation of 55 professionals from Türkiye marked a significant increase compared to previous years, highlighting the growing interest in the industry and the strength of international engagement.

Participating countries included Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Mexico. This year’s workshop recorded the highest level of international participation in the history of IFU Technical Workshops.

On April 16, the second day of the program featured technical visits to the facilities of TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute and Aromsa A.Ş. These visits provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional networking, and further collaboration.

As MEYED, we have maintained a strong partnership with IFU for many years. Today, three representatives from Türkiye hold key positions within IFU:

• Prof. Dr. Mehmet Pala – IFU Ambassador for Southeastern Europe and Türkiye
